“I auditioned for BBNaija 9 times” – Fairme
Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 contestant Fairme has opened up about his challenging path to the reality show, revealing that it took him 9 audition attempts before finally securing a spot this season.
Fairme, who is one half of the duo known as The Radicals, voiced his frustration over consistently landing in the bottom four of the weekly rankings.
Despite their best efforts, the pair has struggled to connect with viewers.
During a diary session, Fairme disclosed that fellow housemate Toby Forge had advised him and his partner, Michky, to alter their personalities in hopes of appealing more to the audience and improving their chances of staying in the competition.
However, Fairme emphasized that he is unwilling to compromise his true self for the sake of votes.
“I don’t know why the public doesn’t like me and my partner. I auditioned nine times to be here”
“Toby forge asked me and Michky why the public has kept us in bottom four, that we should try something else. But I cannot be what I’m not! I can’t pretend.”
