“I can lay down my life for my wife” – Aproko Doctor reveals
Nigerian health influencer, Egemba Chinonso Fidelis, popularly recognized as Aproko Doctor, has expressed his readiness to lay down his life for his wife, Chiamaka, as he discussed sacrificial love in a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
The medical practitioner, who exchanged vows with his wife in June 2020, shared that he would willingly sacrifice his life for her if the situation ever demanded it.
Aproko Doctor emphasized that he comprehends his wife’s worth and has witnessed her remarkable capabilities, making such a sacrifice an easy decision for him.
In the interview, Aproko Doctor also reflected on his recent health ordeal, revealing his battle with a brain tumor. He disclosed this information in a video posted on his Twitter handle on Monday morning, January 16.
He recounted losing vision in one eye on December 3rd, 2022, and receiving a diagnosis of Cranio Pharygiona—a brain tumor—two days later. Throughout December 2022, he underwent brain surgery to remove the tumor and endured a challenging journey to recovery.
He captioned the video,
“Throughout December of 2022, I was fighting for my life. I went blind in one eye on the 3rd of Dec. 2022 & the 5th, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
