“I don’t want to lose weight and be thin like Eniola Badmus or Warri Pikin” Monalisa Stephen blows hot at critics and body shamers
Nollywood actress and advocate for body positivity, Monalisa Stephen, has responded passionately to critics who have compared her to her colleagues, Eniola Badmus and Warri Pikin.
Addressing the issue on her Instagram page, she expressed her firm stance against emulating them or altering her body shape to match theirs. She firmly instructed her detractors to cease their scrutiny and allow her to embrace her own body as it is.
She emphasized her commitment to remaining true to herself, asserting that she has no desire to imitate anyone else. She highlighted the tendency of trolls to misinterpret her reactions whenever another plus-size celebrity undergoes weight loss, wrongly attributing jealousy to her.
“I have no interest in resembling Aunty Eniola Badmus or Real Warri Pikin. I am content with my body as it is. Let me be.
I want to remind all you trolls that I will always be myself! I have no desire to be anyone else, and I don’t envy others.
