“I have never met an entertainer as hardworking” – Falz speaks on his bond with Funke Akindele
Famous Nigerian singer Folarin Falana, better known as Falz, has spoken about the journey shared with Nollywood box office actress Funke Akindele.
It is no surprise that Funke Akindele and Falz share a cordial bond from the on-screen relationship in the famous sitcom Jenifa’s Diary to the upcoming project Everybody Loves Jenifa.
Speaking with Chude Jideonwo, Falz said Funke Akindele is among the most hardworking entertainers he has ever met.
He revealed how the highest-grossing actress contacted him to feature in her comic series Jenifa’s Diary and how it was fun during the process.
Falz also emphasised that Funke Akindele is one of the most hardworking entertainers he has ever encountered.
He said “I remember Funke Akindele, a big shout out to her, by the way; She had reached out to me maybe by Instagram or something.
Anyway saying, she had seen some of those videos. Yeah, and she had something she was working on. Yeah, she’d like me to be a part of it.
There was no Jennifer’s Diary; the diary didn’t exist.
I don’t think I’ve ever crossed paths with any other entertainer in this country. Yes, that is more hard-working than she is.”
Recall that Funke Akindele opened up on the hard times she encountered before her rise to stardom a few days ago.
Funke Akindele shared a video of herself being active on the set of her highest-grossing billion movie, A Tribe Called Judah, on her Instagram page.
She spoke about how the film depicted the present challenges of single mothers in raising children.
She counted herself as a testimony of believing in herself, saying she faced different challenges but learned to stand tall and encourage others because of them.
The box office queen encouraged her followers to continue inspiring the next generation of women.
