“I no thief o, na good music dey pay” – Paul Okoye breaks silence as EFCC clears him
Paul Okoye, the second half of the famous music group PSquare, has broken his silence after being cleared by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In June of last year, controversial blogger Stella Dimokokorkus alleged a brewing conflict between the PSquare brothers and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, over joint funds supposedly diverted by Jude. According to her insider source, a company expressed interest in acquiring the music catalogue of PSquare’s works. However, during negotiations, various financial secrets were revealed, involving the EFCC and the detention of Jude Okoye, with the intervention of NFF President Amaju Pinnick.
On Tuesday, Instagram blogger Cutie Juls claimed that Paul and Jude Okoye had been arrested by the commission.
Following his release, Paul took to his Instagram page to celebrate, stating that he earned his money through good music and did not steal.
