“I regret trashing Ilebaye’s clothes” – Ike
Ike Onyema, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija All Stars, expressed remorse for his actions involving Ilebaye’s clothing in the washroom.
He had disposed of Ilebaye’s garments on the bathroom floor approximately two weeks earlier, hoping to provoke her into receiving a third strike, which would have led to her eviction from the current season of the reality show.
However, Ike, along with Prince, Lucy, and Seyi, was ousted from the program last Sunday. In an interview with the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, after his eviction, Ike admitted that he had crossed a line and felt remorseful upon witnessing people’s reactions to his actions.
“I am sorry again to everyone about some of the boundaries that I crossed. When I saw people’s reaction to the clip being played back, I was like okay I might have gone too far.
“There was no excuse, things just got out of hand. Once the energy came, I overdid it. It is something I struggled with a lot and had a lot of regrets about later. I definitely had to apologize about that publicly to the house and Ilebaye.”
