“I rejected mouth-watering movie roles” – May Edochie
May Edochie, the estranged wife of actor Yul Edochie, recently discussed her decision to turn down numerous high-paying movie roles.
Known for her debut appearance in Nollywood in Omoni Oboli’s film Uprising, which premiered last month, May revealed in an exclusive interview that she has declined lucrative offers from top Nollywood producers and directors.
She explained that, despite being offered exciting roles, her versatility and commitment to other pursuits led her to pass on these opportunities. She also shared that she initially considered declining Oboli’s invitation to star in Uprising before ultimately accepting the role.
“For the past two years, I’ve received scripts, movie roles, and mouth-watering offers, but I rejected everything”, May Edochie stated.
Speaking further about her versatility, May Edochie said, “‘I’m a master of all trades, and there’s a whole lot I can do if I put my mind to it”.
