I was worried about my husband’s decision to join politics – Adesua Etomi

Adesua Etomi, the wife of Banky W, a politician and music executive, has shared her reactions to her husband’s suggestion that she join politics.

Banky W entered politics in 2019 to run for Eti-Osa, a federal constituency in the House of Representatives. He was a member of the Modern Democratic Party (MDP). Banky W was named the Peoples Democratic Party winner for the House of Reps in 2022.

Adesua Etormi, in a recent interview, said that she was concerned when her husband revealed his ambitions and decided he wanted to become a politician.

However, she added that her fears and her concerns subsided when she realized Banky W was pursuing a higher purpose.

I was slightly worried when Banky announced that he would be entering politics.

This is something I have spoken about many times, but I believe that purpose is far more important than fear.

I want to see him prove his purpose, so he has my support 100 percent.
