“If i talk, dem fit finish me” – Ruger continues to drag his former record label
In a recent update, singer Ruger has continued to publicly criticize his former record label. Via Instagram, he conveyed that there are numerous undisclosed details about the record label that he feels unable to reveal.
He went on to suggest that these revelations could potentially put him in danger, implying that his former record label poses a threat, and continuing to speak out could have negative consequences for him.
Furthermore, he shared how he had been extensively taken advantage of during his time with the record label, mentioning instances where funds earmarked for him were redirected to support other artists.
Despite voicing his concerns and frustrations, he was advised to remain patient and refrain from taking action.
Additionally, Ruger confessed to eventually forgiving the record label and even attempting to reconcile by visiting their headquarters, only to be met with insincere gestures of goodwill. He expressed his disillusionment with the lack of change, leading him to the brink of exasperation.
However, he revealed that at the end of the day, he was glad that that ordeal was over and that he was where he was right now. He also stated that he could not help but be cocky because he had gotten himself to a stage where his former record label had not been able to.
