Iyabo Ojo announces rally over Mohbad’s death
Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has coordinated a rally in Lagos State to advocate for justice on behalf of the late musician Mohbad.
During an Instagram live session on Monday, Iyabo Ojo announced her initiative. She explained that her NGO, Pinkies Foundation, would dispatch a letter to the state authorities on Monday, in preparation for the rally scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday.
In her call to action for fellow entertainers in the industry, she stated, “Governor Sanwo Olu, I implore you to utilize your esteemed office, sir. We earnestly request that you ensure thorough investigations take place, and we seek more than just superficial inquiries.
We let him down when he was alive, and now he has paid the ultimate price.”
“We parents are bringing the revolution to reality. The autopsy must be done. When I met him he was so disturbed. He was so paranoid.
“My lawyer will write to you. My foundation will write to you one after the other. My foundation will send out a letter. We are sending the letter on Monday to all the respectable offices. And we are sending it to international bodies. We are coming to your office on Tuesday or Wednesday. So that you can understand that we need justice. We are going to do a peaceful rally.”
