Jamie Foxx was hospitalized after suffering a medical emergency
Jamie Foxx, a Hollywood actor, was taken to an Atlanta hospital on Tuesday, April 11 after suffering an undisclosed emergency.
Corinne Foxx, his daughter, released a statement stating that the Oscar-winning actor suffered from a medical problem and had to be admitted to the hospital. Foxx, 55 years old, was filming “Back in Action” in Atlanta with Cameron Diaz as of Monday.
Foxx also stated that he is on his way to recovery. However, the nature of the illness wasn’t disclosed.
‘’We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday [Tuesday]. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.’ the statement in part reads
