Jim Iyke in search of man who helped him survive living under-bridge in Oshodi
Veteran Nollywood actor Jim Iyke is determined to find the kind stranger who helped him during a difficult time when he was homeless and living under a bridge in Oshodi years ago.
In an interview with Silicon African, Jim Iyke openly shared his journey, describing how his failures strengthened his belief in eventual success. He also mentioned the standards he expects from women who stay at his house.
He recounted the biggest risk of his life: leaving his parents’ home to pursue success, only to be betrayed by his closest friend, which left him homeless.
After facing rejection from others, he ended up sleeping under a bridge in Oshodi, where a compassionate stranger named Lateef offered him support and safety.
Jim Iyke expressed his desire to find Lateef and thank him for the impact on his life, sharing his unsuccessful attempts to locate him. He earnestly implored anyone acquainted with Lateef, especially those frequenting Oshodi Bridge, to help facilitate their reunion.
Jim Iyke emphasized his heartfelt intention to reciprocate the kindness shown to him and reiterated his determination to transform Lateef’s life and bestow blessings upon him.
