Junior Pope’s burial arrangement banner surfaces
The funeral arrangements banner for the late Nigerian actor, Junior Pope, has emerged online, attracting significant attention.
Mr. Odonwodo, also known as Junior Pope, along with four other crew members, tragically lost their lives when their boat capsized in the Anam River in Anambra State on April 10th, while returning from a film shoot.
Out of the 12 individuals aboard the ill-fated boat, approximately seven were rescued, while five, including Mr. Odonwodo, perished.
The funeral proceedings for Mr. Odonwodo commenced on April 23rd with a requiem mass at Saint John-Mary Vianney Parish in Asaba, Delta State, as announced by his family through the actor’s funeral notice.
According to the details on the funeral poster, signed by Divine Odonwodo on behalf of the family, another requiem mass is scheduled for May 13th at Christ the King Catholic Parish in G.R.A, Enugu.
On May 14th, an evening of tributes and candlelight will take place at Amadeo Event Centre in Enugu starting at 5 p.m.
On May 16th, a wake will be held at his hometown in Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, a community within the Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area of the state.
The Nollywood actor will finally be laid to rest on Friday 17 May at his country home after a burial mass at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ukehe. Interment will follow immediately after the burial of the actor.
