Kemi Olunloyo officially “frees” Davido, and reveals how he offended her
Investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has officially forgiven Afrobeat singer Davido, revealing the ways he had wronged her over the years.
Now retired, Olunloyo shared on her Instagram page that she has decided to forgive Davido after years of public criticism. She updated Nigerians on how the “Unavailable” singer had offended her, leading to her negative reporting about him.
She recounted that on October 20, 2018, Davido disrespected her in three tweets to his over 8 million followers, calling her a mad woman, a drug addict, and sexually harassing her, all because she reported on his breakup with Chioma.
Kemi also accused Davido of damaging her brand and reputation, noting that despite numerous industry insiders urging him to apologize, he never did.
She declared that she would no longer be reporting on Davido or any matters related to him and extended her best wishes to him, Chioma, their twins, all his children from other women, and their upcoming baby, hoping they have a happy family life.
