Kizz Daniel reveals why he employed his former boss, Emperor Geezy
Renowned songwriter and singer, Kizz Daniel, has finally addressed the reasons behind his decision to rehire his former boss, Emperor Geezy, despite their previous falling out.
It’s worth noting that Emperor Geezy once served as Kizz Daniel’s record label manager before the two went their separate ways, engaging in a public feud for some time.
However, the ‘Buga’ singer surprised many when he rehired his former boss earlier in 2023 to oversee his record label, Fly Boy Inc.
During a recent interview on the Afrobeats Podcast, Daniel disclosed that he brought Emperor Geezy back into the fold because he had complete trust in him when it came to managing his brand.
He went on to explain that, even during their public feud, his former boss had consistently shown care and affection for him, often offering valuable career and health advice.
“We were already friends since last year. We had died the matter. I was just like can you hold down the label for me while I record and he said fine. He is one of the people I can trust the Kizz Daniel brand with.
He’s the type I can say you know what; you have passion for this brand and true love, not necessarily me, and I know you want this brand to grow.
Even that time we were fighting, he would still send me texts saying ‘you’re not supposed to be doing this; you shouldn’t be smoking’ and we’re fighting on social media. He love the brand, Kizz Daniel.”
