Lilian Afegbai drags designers demanding tags amid AMVCA outfit controversy
Nollywood actress Lilian Afegbai has taken to social media to express her discontent with designers who demand to be tagged in posts, especially amidst the AMVCA outfit controversy involving Nana Akua.
Various celebrities have responded differently to Nigerian designer Ezinne Olivia’s recent accusation against Ghanaian fashionista Nana Akua Addo, alleging insufficient credit for her AMVCA ensemble.
Lilian Afegbai chimed in by critiquing the behavior of designers, makeup artists, and hairstylists who persistently seek to be tagged even after being fully compensated for their services.
She questioned the necessity of tagging them after fulfilling payment obligations, pondering what more she could owe them.
Recounting an incident, the actress mentioned asking one of her designers whether she had ever received a discount in exchange for not being tagged, highlighting the imbalance in expectations.
She stated that it is supposed to be a mutual relationship where everyone gets to help each other.
