Mary Njoku slams Merit Gold for opining that helping one’s family without husband’s consent is cheating
Popular actress Mary Njoku has criticized her colleague Merit Gold for suggesting that a wife is cheating when she assists her family without her husband’s consent.
Earlier reports highlighted that Merit Gold discussed different forms of cheating in marriages beyond extramarital affairs.
She asserted that when a woman helps her family without first getting her husband’s consent, it constitutes cheating.
Mary Njoku responded in the comment section, condemning this advice. She sarcastically added that, by this logic, cheating in marriage would also mean a woman needing her husband’s permission before greeting her mother.
