Mohbad: Singer Skales and Delta police PRO, Bright Edafe, continue to exchange words on X
On Sunday morning, September 17th, singer Skales and Bright Edafe, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Delta State Police, engaged in another exchange on the social media platform X.
Their disagreement initially began two days prior when Skales questioned the presence of police in Nigeria following the circulation of videos depicting the late singer Mohbad being assaulted.
Edafe came across Skales’ post and responded by explaining that police stations are not on X, emphasizing that the police force can only initiate an investigation when a formal complaint is filed.
Skales, upon seeing Edafe’s response, strongly criticized him, instructing him to “shut up.” In turn, Edafe accused Skales of attempting to use him to rejuvenate his “declining career.”
Later that same day, Edafe shared a video of himself dancing to one of Skales’ songs, affirming that the rapper is like a “brother” to him and expressing that there are no lingering hard feelings between them.
This morning, Skales spotted Edafe’s post and fired the police PRO, describing him as a ‘fool’ and an ‘’idiot’. Edafe responded saying he wouldn’t insult Skales because he was raised properly.
