“My son was born a mistake” Yomi Fabiyi rants as he issues strong warnings about condoms
Nollywood actor and filmmaker Yomi Fabiyi ignited a discussion among internet users when he asserted that his beloved son, Akorede, was conceived unintentionally due to the substandard condoms manufactured in Nigeria, intended to mitigate the escalating population.
The actor, aiming to voice concerns about the escalating cost of living in the country, appealed to the Nigerian government to improve the quality of condom production as a means of family planning.
Yomi Fabiyi expressed his distress over how the inferior quality of condoms contributes to unplanned pregnancies and exacerbates the financial burden on Nigerians. He attributed the responsibility for Nigeria’s predicament to the authorities for permitting the importation of subpar condoms.
The father of one disclosed that his son Akorede was a product of failed family planning methods, suggesting that the government should assume responsibility for such cases.

According to the mother of one, Yomi Fabiyi responded to one of her rants on social media by sharing the receipt of the amount he sent to purchase a bicycle for their son.
She complained against the actor that the 45 thousand naira he was boasting about was not enough to purchase the essential items their son needs. She shared photos of the school materials she purchased and some other items.
Grace also dragged Fabiyi for sharing the amount of pizza he bought for him, stating he bought pizza for 4,500 in 12 months. She taunted him for expecting her father to be responsible for their son
