Naira Abuse: Cubana Chief Priest preaches on avoiding ‘wahala’
Celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest expresses regret over his legal tussle with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), urging his followers to steer clear of any form of trouble.
Accused of financial misconduct by the EFCC, he entered a plea of not guilty to the three charges leveled against him on April 16.
Subsequently, Judge Kehinde Ogundare granted him bail set at N10 million, requiring two reputable sureties of equal value. However, during a meeting on Thursday, May 2, all involved parties agreed to settle the matter outside of court.
As a result, the trial was adjourned until June 5 to allow for the resolution report. In light of this development, Cubana Chief Priest took to Instagram on Thursday to announce the decision to settle his financial misconduct case with the EFCC out of court.
Reflecting on his ordeal, Cubana Chief Priest advised others against engaging in conflicts with the EFCC, citing the immense pressure he faced since the incident began.
“Court day !!! Problem No Good Oh, @officialefcc No Dey Joke Oh !!!! Better Stay Away From Their Wahala, I’m SUre You Will Not Love To Pass Through This Kinda Stress I’m Passing Through,” he wrote.
