Nigerian man breaks Guinness World Record for eating in 150 restaurants in 24 hours
Ambitious Nigerian Brian Nwanna has set a new Guinness World Record by trekking 25 kilometers on foot and visiting 150 fast-food restaurants in just 24 hours.
The Guinness World Record organization announced the achievement on their official social media channels.
Munachimso Brian Nwanna, a 22-year-old content creator and culinary consultant, has claimed the global title for the most fast-food locations visited within a single day. He surpassed the previous record of 100 restaurants, held by American YouTuber Airrack, by reaching 150 establishments.
This record-breaking feat took place in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, unlike previous attempts in New York City. With limited public transport options in Abuja and no private vehicles allowed, Brian chose to walk the entire distance.
Brian began his journey at Chicken Republic in Gwarinpa and concluded at Kilimanjaro in the city center, covering over 25 kilometers (15 miles) in total
He set his start and end times at 5 p.m. and slept for nine hours between midnight and 9 a.m.
Sharing the news, Guinness World Record wrote: “Nigerian social media star @BrianNwana travelled 25 kilometres on foot whilst visiting 150 fast food restaurants in 24 hours, smashing the previous record by 50”
