Nigerians and other African migrants arrested in Libya as police raid house allegedly used for prostitution
Police in Benghazi have arrested 19 African migrants, including Nigerians over alleged involvement in prostitution in Benghazi, Libya.
Seven men and eight woman undocumented migrants were arrested by police when they raided a three-storey apartment in Mahdawi Street, on Saturday, April 29, 2023.
“Police in Benghazi raided a house rented by Nigerian migrants and used for prostitution. During the operation, 19 undocumented migrants (male 7 & female 12) of different nationalities were arrested. All transferred to the Benghazi Security Directorate for legal action.” the report reads.
