Nkechi Blessing reacts as Lizzy Anjorin sheds light on her theft allegations
Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has teamed up with Iyabo Ojo to ridicule their fellow actress, Lizzy Anjorin, amidst theft allegations.
Earlier, we reported that Lizzy was accused of deceiving a vendor at the Lagos Island market a few months ago.
Videos circulating online depicted the Yoruba actress caught up in a gold jewelry theft incident on Lagos Island. Reports online indicate that Lizzy visited a well-known market in Lagos on November 17, 2023, and made a purchase from a vendor selling Stones for tailoring materials, amounting to N91,000.
Due to a misunderstanding between the POS merchant and Lizzy Anjorin, Lizzy mistakenly sent the money to the wrong account number, due to a numerical error. Given her celebrity status, the vendor trusted Anjorin and allowed her to depart without confirming the payment, only to later realize that the transaction had failed.
Fast forward to the present, Lizzy revisited the same market and encountered the same vendor, though she attempted to conceal her identity with a nose mask.
The situation unfolded when the vendor recognized her as the person responsible for the outstanding payment. Fortunately for Lizzy, her husband was present to resolve the contentious situation.
Lizzy Anjorin, took to her Instagram Live to debunk the reports as she stated that people were trying to set her up.
Reacting to it, Nkechi took to Iyabo’s comment section to question who was trying to set Lizzy up.
She wrote, “Which one of you set up people today in the market”.
Bakare Zainab, under her comment, left several laughing emojis.
