Nollywood producer, Andy Best reported dead
The Nollywood community is plunged into grief as it mourns the loss of producer and marketer Andy Ikechukwu Nnadi, affectionately known as Andy Best, to the grasp of death.
The sad news was relayed on Instagram by Seun Oloketuyi, the organizer of the Best of Nollywood (BON) awards. He disclosed that Andy passed away earlier today, on March 19, 2024, at a hospital in Owerri.
The cause of his demise remains undisclosed to the public, although it’s speculated that he had been grappling with a prolonged illness.
Andy Best held a prominent position in Nollywood’s production landscape, and his passing has deeply shaken the industry. Some of his notable productions include “My Father’s Cup,” “The Lion of Africa,” “White Poison,” “Pretty Angels,” and “Rain Makers,” among others.
He was also the Chief Executive Officer of Andy Best Electronics.
His body has been deposited at the Aladinma Mortuary in Owerri.
