“Nothing wrong with reserving seats for celebrities in a Church” — Adaeze Eluke
Nollywood actress Adaeze Eluke has voiced her support for churches that allocate seats for celebrities and esteemed dignitaries, countering criticism raised by a young lady in a recent tweet.
Expressing her views in response to the tweet, Adaeze defended the practice, considering it justifiable despite objections from others who find it unfair, particularly to early-arriving church members vying for front seats.
Contrary to the critic’s perspective, Adaeze argued that reserving seats for celebrities and dignitaries is acceptable, drawing a parallel to the custom of seating honored guests prominently at events like weddings.
In her view, such reserved spaces are rightfully allocated to individuals of significance, ensuring that only those deemed important have access to them.
According to her, that is how the church should operate and if people are not comfortable with it, they should stop coming early or not come at all.
