Olamide replies to a critic who questioned why he has no Afrobeat achievement
Nigerian rapper and singer Olamide engaged in a heated exchange with a fan who criticized his career and questioned his contributions to Afrobeat.
Recently, Olamide made headlines for gifting a content creator N5M, but he found himself clashing with a music critic on social media.
Using the micro-blogging platform Twitter, now known as X, the critic questioned why Olamide has yet to make any significant achievements in Afrobeats.
“Why haven’t you achieved anything useful for Afrobeats yet?” he quizzed.
Contrary to the expectation of a hot clap back from Olamide, the singer simply prayed for the troll, wishing him divine healing from his wound.
“I pray you find healing. Sending you loads of God’s love,” he responded.
