Oxlade offers N500K to a woman who came out with an empty pot during a protest
Famed Afropop singer Oxlade has extended financial help to a woman who brought an empty pot to a protest to highlight her plight.
The #EndBadGovernance protest, which began nationwide on August 1st, saw individuals taking to the streets with placards to express their dissatisfaction with the current government.
Among the protesters was a woman who came out with an empty pot to emphasize the hunger and lack of food in her home. Her photo circulated widely online, eliciting sympathetic reactions from netizens.
Oxlade took to his Twitter page to share a photo of the woman and announced that he is offering her N500K.
