Paul Pogba has revealed he’s looking forward to linking up with Manchester United team-mate Jesse Lingard again.
The duo played together in the club’s academy and they won the 2011 FA Youth Cup.
But after his world record-breaking transfer back to Old Trafford, Pogba has expressed his excitement to play with his good friend again.
When asked if he was looking forward to linking up with him again, he said: ‘Yes.
‘I always keep talking [to Lingard], I’ve always kept in touch with him.
‘I’m very happy for him and what he’s doing. I’m proud of him.
‘I know he went on loan, he was playing and then he went on loan again but it was just Jesse Lingard scoring goals as always.
‘I’m very happy for him.
‘I see Sam Johnstone too, Will Keane, all the players who are here but also the ones who went away too, we all keep in touch.
‘I’m very happy for them.’
Jesse Lingard welcomed Pogba back to the club on Twitter, first with a photo of both players dabbing and then with a slightly strange video of the pair.
