Propeller plane misses runway and crashes into car in Texas
A Texas airport experienced an incident where a small propeller plane exceeded the runway upon landing, subsequently sliding into a passing car on a nearby road.
Jack Schneider, a bystander, recorded footage of the plane breaking through a fence during its emergency landing.
“I saw the airplane coming down the runway quickly I knew that he wasn’t gonna have time to stop,” Mr Schneider told local news broadcaster WFAA-TV on Saturday.
“It was clearly going too fast, the tyres were smoking.”
The car’s driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, while the two people in the plane were not hurt.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash.
