Singer, Simi claps back at those criticizing her accent
Simisola, also known as Simi Kosoko a Nigerian singer has responded to critics of her accent.
The mother of one shared a video on social media in which she revealed that she had been mocked repeatedly by trolls, who accused her of her fake accent.
Replying to her critics, Simi made it clear that she has no reason to fake her accent, as she’s not bothered by the opinions of others when it comes to how she speaks.
“Let me tell you something that gets on my nerves; when some motherf*ckers come on here saying I’m forming ascent. Do I really seem like the kind of person that will care about how anybody feels about how I talk? like I sit down and I plan, this is how we are going to use this ascent today? I don’t give a f*ck. Do I sound like I’m struggling when I’m talking?” She said.
Simi also added that she finds the insinuations amusing and advised those who don’t like her accent to stay away from her social media pages.
