“Some of them are 12 in a room” Anita Joseph slams island ladies who troll mainland girls
In a recent turn of events, actress Anita Joseph has criticized those from the island who habitually ridicule girls residing on the mainland.
In response to a podcast video circulating online, wherein certain island podcasters disparaged mainland women, labeling them as not “baddies,” Anita Joseph took to her Instagram to rebuke them for their derogatory remarks towards mainland girls.
She conveyed her view that many island girls don’t truly match the image they portray, with some even living in cramped conditions in two-bedroom apartments.
She highlighted instances where up to twelve individuals share such living spaces, yet these same individuals condescend to mainlanders on social media.
Furthermore, she emphasized that many significant individuals also reside on the mainland. Notably, reality TV personalities Tolani Baj and Moet Abebe recently addressed the disparities between mainland and island living in a podcast. Abebe boldly stated her reluctance to date a man from the mainland, citing differences in standards.
However, Tolani Baj had expressed that she wouldn’t mind dating a guy who stays on the mainland as long as he was willing to come see her whenever she needed him.
Also, Doyin in an interview had expressed her stance on dating a man who stays on the mainland. She revealed that she would not be able to date a man who stays on the mainland because most of her work her family and everything she likes is centered around the island.
She revealed that the man would have to move to be with her on the island and that she would not be able to make that move.
She however further stated that if the man was not comfortable with her decision then he could go look for a girl who stays on the mainland who would be willing to stay with him instead of looking for a girl who stays on the island.
