Spyro initially unveiled the release of “Shut Down” on March 29, featuring Nigerian indigenous artist Phyno. Subsequently, rumors surfaced online suggesting that Drake had taken notice of the song and was keen on joining for a remix.
However, speculation indicates that the singer might have played a prank on his fans as part of April Fool’s Day celebrations.
