Tears flow as an actress, Gbemi Anjola is laid to rest
It is a sad time for friends, fans, colleagues, and lovers of fast-rising actress, Gbemi Anjola as she is laid to rest.
Ariyo Oluwakemisola Apesin, a Nollywood actress popularly known by Kemity, has shared videos from the funeral.
As they bid the movie star goodbye, everyone at the funeral was captured on video.
Gbemi Anjola, who had been battling ovarian cancer for a long time, died on Friday, March 24, 2023.
Gbemi was first diagnosed with the disease in 2021. Gbemi was then diagnosed with the disease in 2021. She traveled to Dubai, UAE, for treatment that lasted approximately 6 months.
After her medical treatment in Dubai, she came back to Nigeria cancer-free. On Friday, the 25th of March, 2023, the actress complained of memory loss and headache.
She was rushed to the hospital, but, unfortunately, Gbemi was pronounced dead.
The tragic news was shared by the late actor’s colleagues, Itele and Zainab Balogun who mourned her on their Instagram pages.
Many others had also taken to their respective pages to pay her goodnight.
