Tekno debunks reports of collapsing in South Africa
Afrobeat singer and songwriter Augustine Miles Kelechukwu, widely known as Tekno, has taken to social media to refute circulating rumors that he collapsed in South Africa.
A viral video has been circulating on social media, showing a person surrounded by people trying to help after collapsing at an event.
Although the person’s face was not visible, reports speculated that the individual in the video was Tekno while in South Africa.
In response, Tekno posted a photo on his Instagram page, assuring his fans and followers that he is healthy and not currently in South Africa.
He, however, prayed that whoever was in the video is doing fine.
His words: “Hey guys, I’m hale and hearty and not currently in South Africa. I hope whoever that was in the video is doing well and ok. Thank you guys. Love you”
The singer’s friends, fans, and followers expressed their excitement following his post.
It is worth noting that another report followed the rumors, alleging that the actual person in the video was Kenyan rapper, Prezzo, who collapsed during the launch of the Bahatis.
