Tems reacts to 2025 Grammy nominations
Afrobeats star Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has responded to her nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Following the announcement of the 2025 Grammy nominees—which included Nigerian music stars Davido, Wizkid, Rema, and Asake in several categories—Tems shared her reaction on Twitter (formerly X), mentioning that her phone has been buzzing with calls since the news broke.
The “Free Mind” singer expressed her gratitude, acknowledging God’s faithfulness and blessings in her life.
Her tweet reads,”Phone buzzing at 5am in Melbourne!!! All I can say is Wow GOD IS GOOD!!”.
It’s worth noting that Tems won her first Grammy in 2023for Best Global Music Performance for ‘Wait for U’ (her collaboration with Future and Drake).
