Tems reveals she signed an NDA before working with Beyoncé
Nigerian artist Tems revealed that she entered into a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before collaborating with American icon Beyoncé.
Tems shared details of her collaboration with the renowned superstar on Beyoncé’s 2022 album “Reinassance” during an interview with the New York Times.
“My team just messaged me like, ‘Yo, first of all, I have to send you something to sign. I was losing my mind. Like, What?!” she told New York Times’ Culture Reporter Reggie Ugwu, expressing her excitement.
During the interview, Tems revealed that she was presented with an NDA by her team, which she agreed to upon being invited to collaborate with Beyoncé in Los Angeles.
The track “Move,” showcased on Beyoncé’s Grammy-nominated album “Renaissance,” emerged from Tems’ studio sessions with the renowned singer.
Beyond Beyoncé, Tems has engaged in collaborations with various global stars, including Drake, Rihanna, and Future. Notably, Future enlisted both Drake and Tems on his Grammy-winning track “Wait For U.”
