Singer Portable is shedding light on the actual sequence of events that led to his facial alterations, countering previous reports that suggested he was attacked at home for allegedly accepting payment and not appearing for a performance.
Contrary to the initial narrative of an assault at his residence, Portable is now asserting that he recorded a track for a group that purportedly arrived from America to involve him in a musical event.
According to him, he received a payment of 2.5 million naira for his contribution. However, upon completing the work and expressing his intention to depart, he contends that the group prevented him from leaving and demanded a refund of their money.
He said that they insisted that the money he collected from them was too much and they wanted it back.
