Thieves break into Portable’s studio, steal equipment
Nigerian artist Portable has encountered a setback after burglars raided his studio, making off with numerous pieces of studio equipment while he was absent.
This update was shared recently on his Instagram page. In a video posted, the voice of a woman can be heard disclosing that the studio had been burglarized several hours earlier, with an unidentified individual forcefully entering the premises and pilfering various items.
The voice in the video lamented, “I contemplated going to the studio this morning. Look at the state of everything, it’s all in disarray and damaged. They broke down the door, look at this area.”
“Look at the interior, they took everything from here, even the PS. They emptied everything. Look at this area, this is where they broke in and forced their entry.”
Meanwhile, Portable, in a separate video, was heard expressing his frustration and advising people not to trust anyone. He also revealed his intention to go after those behind this act, which took place while he was away.
