“This is dehumanizing” – Mr Macaroni reacts to video of Davido’s aide assaulting fans
Comedian and human rights activist Mr. Macaroni has responded to the video depicting Davido’s aide, Lati, assaulting fans who attempted to approach the artist.
In the footage circulating online, Davido and his entourage were walking when fans attempted to approach them for photos. However, Lati, one of Davido’s aides, was observed slapping fans who tried to get closer to the artist.
In his reaction to the incident, Mr. Macaroni denounced the behavior, labeling it as “dehumanizing.” He expressed that it was unnecessary to physically confront fans seeking pictures with their favorite artist.
Moreover, he offered advice to fans, suggesting that they should seek permission before attempting to take pictures with celebrities.
“This is sad and highly condemnable!!! There is no need for this assault. This is dehumanizing and I speak against it because I know exactly how this feels.
The change that we all seek must begin with us!!!”.
“Please, if you must take pictures with any of your favorite celebrities, kindly seek permission so that you are not seen as a threat. Respect is reciprocal.
We must respect the privacy of our celebrities and Celebrities must also learn to treat our fans with respect and dignity”.
