“Though I am part of your new movie project, should I be running away” – Cute Abiola calls out Funke Akindele
Nigerian skitmaker Abdulgafar Abiola, popularly known as Cute Abiola, recently reached out to actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele with a playful note.
In his message, he informed her that he might not be able to attend the premiere of her new movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa, on the 13th.
He explained that his schedule is packed with commitments, meetings, events, and calls. Adding a humorous twist, Cute Abiola claimed that even the new U.S. President-elect, Donald Trump, is waiting for his call.
Despite his busy schedule, Cute Abiola emphasized that his affection for Funke is why he’s making an effort to respond.
He assured her that, although he appears in her movie, it doesn’t mean he’s trying to avoid her. He promised to check his schedule to see if he can make it to the premiere.
“Dear @funkejenifaakindele!!! I just want to tell you that I will not be free on the 13th, you know I am a very busy person, and I have a lot of things I am doing, meetings here and there, too many calls, events and all, even the new America president, Donald Trumpets has been calling me back to back to see my congratulations post, I ignored his calls! But you are just so close to me that’s why I am doing this for you, tho I am part of your movie project, and so what? I should be running away. Well, congratulations on your new movie Coming out on the 13th of December; I will check my schedule and see if I am going to be available that day, I wish you all the best, dear @funkejenifaakindele
