Thousands gather in Iwo, Osun as Sisi Quadri is finally laid to rest amidst tears
It is a sorrowful moment for fans and admirers of the late Nollywood actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, as he has been laid to rest.
The renowned Yoruba actor has been finally interred in his hometown of Iwo, Osun State, on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024. Videos circulated online depicted the multitude gathered at his burial ceremony, witnessing the actor’s final rites.
Among the assembly were youths and residents of Iwo, alongside members of the theater community and other dignitaries.
As per accounts, mourners congregated at his father’s residence in the Agboola area of Iwo as early as 8 am in anticipation of the arrival of his remains from the mortuary.
The body of the deceased arrived at approximately 11 am in an ambulance, prompting the crowd to grieve upon beholding the actor’s remains.
Sisi Quadri was laid to rest in his hometown in Iwo, Osun State.
