Tiwa Savage, the renowned Afrobeats songstress, has clarified the misconceptions surrounding her song “Men Are Crazy,” emphasizing that while acknowledging men’s quirks, women still rely on them.
In a recent interview on MTV Live, Tiwa spoke warmly of her collaboration with Simi on the track, praising Simi’s prowess as “a queen in Afrobeats” and describing their collaboration as “magical.”
Moreover, Tiwa addressed concerns raised by colleagues like Brymo, who questioned the song’s title and lyrics. She adeptly navigated the queries, using the opportunity to elucidate the deeper meaning behind the chosen title and lyrics of the song.
In her words;
“My collaboration with Simi is titled ‘Men Are Crazy But I Still Want One In My Bed.’ The inspiration behind it is that men are crazy but we can’t do without them.
“Simi is somebody that I’ve always wanted to work with. She is a queen in Afrobeats so both of us coming together on such an amazing track is magical.”
