Tobe Bakre causes buzz for lifting Pastor Jimmy Odukoya on the church altar
A recent video featuring Nollywood star Tobi Bakre and Pastor Jimmy Odukoya has gone viral, sparking various reactions online. In the video, Tobi unexpectedly appeared at Pastor Jimmy’s Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos, surprising both the congregation and the pastor.
Pastor Jimmy, who is not only a preacher but also a former actor and the son of the late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, warmly acknowledged Tobi’s presence during the service. In a playful moment, he invited Tobi to join him at the altar. What followed left everyone in shock.
Tobi playfully lifted Pastor Jimmy off the ground, surprising both the pastor and the congregation. The light-hearted act generated mixed reactions on social media. While some found it humorous and a display of their close friendship, others felt it was inappropriate in a religious setting.
Pastor Jimmy, however, seemed unfazed, sharing the video with a humorous caption;
