Toke Makinwa reportedly set to tie the knot with longtime friend
Renowned media personality and TV host, Toke Makinwa, is reportedly preparing to marry Farouq Umar, a longtime friend and former partner of Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja.
Toke Makinwa, who recently made a surprise appearance at the Big Brother Naija Season Nine ‘No Loose Guard’ house, is said to be planning her wedding, scheduled for the coming months.
The news of her upcoming nuptials was first shared by Instagram gossip blog, Gist Merchant. According to their report, Toke and Farouq, who have been close for years, recently held their introduction ceremony.
The gossip blog alleged that Farouq dated Toke Makinwa’s former friend, Sharon Ooja, but the duo parted ways due to Toke’s interference.
Accompanying the report, a video showing Farouq and Toke Makinwa in conversation was shared.
In the video, Farouq opened up about plans to get married, stating that if he doesn’t find true love, he would consider settling down with a babymama.
