Tonto Dike recalls favour from Solidstar, offers support to the embattled singer
Esteemed Nollywood actress, Tonto Charity Dikeh, reflects on her past interactions with Afropop singer Solidstar and extends a helping hand to the artist, who is currently facing mental challenges.
Tonto, 38, fondly recalled how Solidstar, the performer of the song “Emergency,” displayed remarkable dedication towards her success in the music industry.
She lauded his selflessness by highlighting his refusal to seek payment, presents, or even a gesture of gratitude. Through her Instagram platform, Tonto voiced her worries about his well-being and urged either Solidstar’s management or family to reach out to her for financial support.
“How can I get through to Solid Star’s management or family? That’s my street blood, man. He was ready to sacrifice it all for me to do well musically. I just didn’t listen. Never asked for a penny, never accepted a gift, not even a hug. Such a selfless person. I’m hurting that he is still struggling despite having strong support. Please point me in the right direction. Thanks!”.
She also expressed gratitude to Solidstar and his team from the time she knew him. Stating, “First, I would like to say thank you to @officialsolidstar and his team back when I knew him. I am forever grateful.”
