Tonto Dikeh calls out Peter Obi over the quality of a borehole he donated to a northern community
Nollywood star and political figure, Tonto Dikeh, has voiced her criticism towards Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, following his provision of funding for a borehole installation in Kwarbai community, Zaria City.
Peter Obi faced backlash on social media after announcing his donation of a borehole to ensure access to essential water for the Kwarbai community. He also mentioned aiding around 100 individuals, aiming to enhance their livelihoods.
In response, Tonto Dikeh expressed deep disappointment towards the former presidential candidate and disapproval of his actions. She questioned his genuine commitment to national progress.
The actress underscored the significance of unity among Nigerians, advocating for support towards President Bola Tinubu and active engagement in the nation’s development.
She said that although she is disappointed by his behavior, Peter Obi remains one of her favorite politicians and that she believes it is important to speak the truth to the benefit of Nigerians.
