Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has shared a humorous incident about accidentally swallowing her contact lenses.
In a post on her Instagram story, she recounted how the mishap occurred. The night before, she removed her transparent medicated contact lenses but, unable to find their case, placed them in a bottle of water. The following morning, feeling thirsty, she reached for the bottle and unknowingly drank the water along with her lenses.
“Hehehe, something hilarious happened to me this morning! Last night, I took off my transparent medicated contact lenses but couldn’t find the case, so I put them in a bottle of water. Fast forward to 3:30 a.m, I woke up thirsty, grabbed the bottle, and now my contacts are swimming in my stomach”.
