Tottenham are reportedly set to offer a new five-year contract to in-form midfielder Eric Dier after he attracted transfer interest from top clubs.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a superb breakthrough season at White Hart Lane last year, and also shone as one of England’s most reliable performers at Euro 2016.
Bayern Munich are believed to be among his admirers, but Spurs now hope to tie him down to an improved deal worth £70,000 per week, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Dier did sign a new contract last summer as well, but Tottenham are increasingly fearful that he could be poached by an elite European side as he continues to improve.
The England international could join his manager in Mauricio Pochettino in committing his future to the club this summer.
