Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has addressed concerns after a distress call she shared raised alarm among her fans.
Earlier, Toyin had posted on her Instagram story, asking for God’s help, which triggered various reactions from her followers and friends.
Many speculated that her plea was related to the recent petrol price hike, with some criticizing her in the comments, as she is a known supporter of the current administration.
However, in a video update on her Instagram page, the actress reassured her fans that she was doing well. She explained that her initial post stemmed from feeling overwhelmed by the large crowd at her home and the need to prepare a significant amount of food.
Toyin explained it was a call for strength, not distress, and expressed gratitude to those who checked on her.
She wrote: “I’m very okay Fam I’m just overwhelmed and truthfully I need strength from GOD Thank you all for your love and calls. IYA YIN wa alright o, Mo cook Alakadabadandboujee for Dec Love you all and thanks once again”
