Toyin Abraham overwhelmed with love as some Corp members in OYO state visit to show solidarity with the actress
Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi was taken by surprise when several Corps members from Oyo State visited her movie set to show their support.
In videos circulating online, the actress is seen riding a horse to meet the enthusiastic Corps members. According to reports, they came to show solidarity with Toyin following the recent backlash she faced on social media.
Earlier this week, Toyin came under fire for arresting one of her online critics and holding him in police custody for a while. The critic had claimed that Toyin detained his mother, which the actress denied, explaining that the mother chose to stay at the police station because of her son’s arrest.
In response, many Nigerians reported her to Netflix, urging the platform to remove her movies and take a stand against her actions.
Many of her colleagues had shown support for her. Taking the lead, Veteran Saidi Balogun slammed those trolling her, as he noted everyone used the police to arrest their neighbours for the smallest offence but made it a bullying case when it involved a celebrity. Saidi described their behaviour as an emotional blackmail.
